We’re seeking a full-time Sales Operations Lead (m/f/d) who is able to enable effective sales for the EMEA region by enabling smooth processes and their daily execution, support operational decision making with strong ability to make use of data and be day-to-day communication interface between Wacom’s HQ operations teams (especially Order Management, Logistics, Accounting & Tax and Portfolio Management, other functions when applicable to support sales) and EMEA sales team. The role shares accountability for Wacom’s business goals in EMEA region and plays an important role for motivating and enabling sales team members to drive tangible results.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with Wacom’s HQ operations teams in Japan to streamline and optimize our sales processes, from lead, price to delivery.

  • Main interface between sales and internal operational teams

  • Manage the Sales Operations team to run processes and communication in effective way. Continuously monitoring team performance, analysing sales operations data, and refining strategies to improve sales efficiency for scale.

  • Coordinate internally related to sales order issues, facilitate decision making and escalations to business management team.

  • Responsible for B2B project quotations

  • Ensure customer and product master data consistency.

  • Coordinate internally rebate claims validation between sales team and Wacom’s HQ functions.

  • Manage software sales orders in terms of license order forms processing.

  • Define data requirements for reporting related to sales operations and for CRM to enable accurate account sales management and pipeline management.

  • Contribute to PSI sales data inputs (Production – Sales – Inventory) in order to make sure that sales demand is met at optimized inventory in warehouse and in channel, main interface to supply chain and demand planning.

  • Responsible for facilitation of (products) allocation process across channels

  • Coordinate product launch and end of life sales operations by deeply collaborating with Wacom’s HQ operations team and portfolio management.

  • Production planning of regional special product configurations

  • Internal audit support

  • Support training for sales team related to processes and tools.

  • Identify bottlenecks in sales operations and drive implement of solutions.

  • Drive ongoing efficiency improvement by process streamlining and automation.

Job requirements

  • 5+ years proven experience in sales operations, sales or a similar role (ideally in IT hardware, electronics)

  • People management skills with 3+ year experience managing or supervising a sales or sales operations team.

  • Clear customer and business orientation, drive real impact in selling and serving customers.

  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, including lead generation, conversion, and pipeline management.

  • Strong structural thinking with experience working with data and designing processes.

  • Strong communication skills in English and able to communicate in German to facilitate interdisciplinary teamwork and to support sales enablement.

  • Ability to resolve issues for customers and within the sales process.

  • Good experience with CRM systems and ERP integrations.

  • Project management skills are a plus.
